We are a fast-growing company looking to add an additional, and exceptional, Shunt Truck Driver to join our team. We have many opportunities for skilled workers with quality workmanship who would like to take their careers to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:

• Shunt trailers in a fast-paced environment and maneuver in tight yards
• Shunt trailers in and out of the shop accordingly as per managers instructions to keep technicians working efficiently
• Pick up and deliver customer equipment from and to customer yards
• Maintain safe vehicle and check equipment as required by DOT
• Maintain logbook records
• Maintain daily log activity
• Maintain shop and yard maintenance
• Perform yard check and update listed equipment
• Assist in picking up and delivery of parts if required
• Able to work in all weather conditions

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…

• Must have a clean and valid DZ license (provide driver abstract)
• 1 year’s shunting experience required
• Must be personable and proficient
• Must maintain a high level of professionalism
• Ability to communicate and respond in an effective and professional manner
• Ability to use judgment and tact when dealing with general inquiries
• Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced challenging environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
